Our Model
The
Healing Place is Cost Effective: A non-traditional approach
to recovery was developed in an effort to make long term residential
care possible for those who lack
the resources
to pay for a treatment program. The cost of the program is less than
$25 per day, per man or 9,125 per year. This includes all services provided.
Studies
show that the cost of maintaining a homeless addict or alcoholic can
add up to $40,000 per year or $110 per day. One night in a hospital can
cost $300
or more. Emergency medical services range from $200-$500, and detention
in a county or state correctional facility costs $50 a day.
The Healing Place Restores Lives
The Healing Place program has more than a 70% success rate, meaning that
nearly three-quarters of The Healing Place graduates are still clean,
sober, and off
the streets one year following completion of the recovery program.
